Joyce Perry

Joyce Marie Beasley Perry, age 92, wife of the late Kennith Frances Perry, went to her heavenly home, Sunday, July 6, 2025. She was born on January 30, 1933, in Anderson County, Ky to the late Lisco Beasley and Daisy Johnson Beasley. 

If Joyce were to be summarized by two things, it would be her love of God and her church, and her love of children, despite never having any of her own. Joyce’s life was at Pigeon Fork Baptist Church; she was a devoted member. She spent all her free time there, running multiple Sunday School Classes, loading all the neighborhood children in her car to bring them to church, or just going to help maintain the church. She treated every child she saw as her own, whether it’s her own nieces and nephews, or a random child on the street. She loved to cook and feed anyone who’d show. 

Including her husband and parents, Joyce is predeceased by her siblings, Lisco “Junior” Beasley, Jr. (Vivian), Ruby Camic (Clifton), and Jaunita Reese (Leonard); and nephews, Jeff Beasley, Larry Camic, and Denny Perry. 

Joyce is survived by her nieces and nephews who she loved like her own, Greg Beasley (Debbie), Allen Beasley (Melissa), Lynn Perry, Janet Green (Darrell), Bobby Perry (Peggy), Mike Perry (Bonnie), Carolyn Sheffield (Wayne), Ray Perry (Kay), all of Lawrenceburg, KY; Sherry Sharp (Mike), Brenda Kay White, Reda Stucker (Donnie), Doug Perry (Glenda), all of Shelbyville, KY; Charles Reese (Brenda) and Gary Reese (Sheila) both of Simpsonville, KY; and Terry Camic (Marilyn) of Winchester, KY. She is also survived by two nieces-in-law, Barbara Barker-Beasley of Lawrenceburg and Peggy Perry of Frankfort, KY; as well as many other grand and great grand nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Joyce to Pigeon Fork Baptist Church 5090 Hickory Ridge Rd, Waddy, KY 40076.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2025, followed by service at 1:00 PM at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 with Bro. Vernon Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
