Joyce and I were classmates at Gastonia High School, Class of 1955 as well as being at Lenoir-Rhyne at the same time. She was a very friendly person and she will be missed by many. I didn't have the fortune to know Joyce personally but I know her daughter Mary. Knowing how Mary express herself, works and cares about people, Im certain Joyce was an amazing person who shared all of this great values to her family. I send my condolences to Joyce's family and wish you can all together recover from this difficult times as the great family I'm sure you are.

I met and knew Joyce at the Bridge Center in West Ashley. She was always cheerful and kind. In fact, she was our Sunshine Lady. Joyce always had a card ready for any situation. Everyone enjoyed her

Joyce and Harmon have been faithful and caring to all who've been fortunate to have known them. I don't think Joyce ever knew a stranger or started a conversation without a smile or a laugh. I will miss that. Godspeed, good friend. You have left the world a better place.
