Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Pitrone and Whitmer families in the loss of a wonderful woman. Joyce was my cousin and I will always remember her huge smile and how friendly she always was to everyone.

Dear Pitrone/Whitmer family,
I am so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing and wanted you all to know what a sweet woman she was. It has been many years since I have seen her but always remember her special smile.
Joyce was Ellet high school friend of my mother, Dolly Swartz Petit, they even shared the same birthday! Joyce was my godmother and that made her very special to me. She touched many lives in her journey here and I just wanted to thank you for sharing her with me.

We were so very sad to read of you mom's death. she was really one in a million -- always with a smile and good word for everyone. She modeled a Christian life for all. Our y9oungest son is being married this Saturday, so I am disapp[ointed that we cannot attend her Mass of Christian Burial. But we went to Mass for her and for you today and will remember all in our prayers.

Dear Family: Joyce and I were friends in high school at Ellet. She was always smiling and she was always willing to help others. I am so sorry for your loss.
