Joyce A. Powers

You wouldn't believe how often I think of Joyce and the perfect roommate she was----and all the years of friendship we shared.

To the Family of Joyce Powers:

My deepest sympathy in this time of grief. Ms. Thorson/Mrs. Powers was my home ec teacher at Shiocton High. She was a great teacher and I use many of the skills she taught me to this day. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Thorsen/Mrs. Powers. She was my favorite teacher at Shiocton High School, and because of her I went to college to study home economics. The memories of those days will live with me forever. I am glad to read she was as wonderful a person all her life as she was while I was in high school.
