Joyce Ramseyer

Joyce was a quiet and reserved student in my first year of teaching. Understandably, as teacher and teen, we didn´t get to know each oth very well. Then years later we met again and we were both eager to learn about each other, but this time as residents of a senior independent living community. For over twenty years I had driven on Canton Street by Joyce Virkler´s family farm nearly every day to get to work at Baldwinsville´s schools. That farmland is now McHarrie Towne. I´m so sorry for your loss. Joyce was a giver. She loved talking about her family, life growing up in Baldwinsville, cooking experiences and experiments. Joyce was generous and genuinely interested in others. She will be missed.
