I met Joyce several years ago in bible study at BSF. Over that time, I had the pleasure to share class groups with her more than once, including this year. She was confident in her relationship with the Lord and knew the Lord she served is alive and powerful and she is his daughter. Joyce loved and honored the Lord with such joy. She radiated when she spoke of the Lord and his work in her life. I will miss the inspiration she brought to our class and her beautiful smile and personality. ...

Joyce was a great person who lifted your spirits with her positive thoughts and inspiration for life. We met in Atlanta several years ago as Norfolk State University alumni and to my surprise found out we graduated from same high school (Central) on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. From that day forward, we had the Virginia family bond and shared her special children, family and gospel fests events.
