A very special woman, mom, friend, who has been a teacher to us all. Ms. Rickard was truly alive in her life when she reached out to others and touched them in her own special way. We have been blessed to have such a remarkable lady such as Joyce Margaret Rickard who shared her love of life with us.

My thoughts are with all who will join today to raise up Joyce in memory. She was a wonderful woman, sharp and caring, someone who appreciated the people in her life. It's hard to think of her as gone from her home on Blue Ridge. I know she will be missed by many. I hope that the shared sense of community and memories helps to ease the pain.
I love the picture you have shared on this page. The spark in her eyes brings back good memories of visits with her.
