I had the honor to meet Joyce when she travelled to Texas for her granddaughter, Jacqueline's graduation from nursing school. Joyce was full of joy and very proud of Jacqueline and her accomplishments; following in the footsteps of Joyce's daughter, Janis. Joyce leaves a legacy of love for her family that will continue in the lives of all that love her. Rest in peace, beautiful lady.

I have some amazing memories with my Grandmother. 1 of my absolute favorites is when she flew up to see me graduate nursing school. I walked into her hotel where Jerry and her were waiting and when she realized who I was she just said, "You look so beautiful." I beamed with pride, because my Grandmother was the most beautiful woman in the world. My fiancee sat next to her at my graduation and he gave her a "Proud Grandmother" pin. He said she teared up when they called my name. No one could...
