Joyce Marcia Rowland

Along with many others, we were good friends with Gary and Joyce up at Schoodic Lake. Over the years we visited them often at their camp and ours. We spent hours together, talking and laughing about everything under the sun. We were deeply saddened when Gary passed, and with the passing of Joyce we will miss the good times with both of them. I always will remember Joyce as the computer lady at Jay Elementary School. Her room neighbored mine, and anytime I needed help with the computer she was always there. She too was invariably there to just talk. A passion for Joyce was giving her support to the gifted and talented program at our school. She didn´t want to see gifted students left behind and bored in any classroom. Joyce was a lovely person. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. Sherry Gilbert
