I enjoyed working with Joyce for many years on the NAACP 's annual Black History Month Soul Food Tasting. It was always fun serving next to her and watching her coordinate the program. She was a lovely woman who be missed. My sincere condolences to the Sanchez Family.

Joyce was wonderful, friendly and joy to visit with. I visited her a couple of times at her home and would often see her at the grocery store. Her smile and interest in others revealed a caring warmth. She is one of those persons you instantly liked and wished she was still here. The photo of her says it all. With sincere sympathy.
