I was saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. She was such a kind, caring person, who loved her family deeply. I will remember her not only as part of my childhood, but also as a colleague at Prendergast School. My heartfelt sympathies to her family. Mrs.Santore was my landlord in 2010 when I was just 21 years old and was a single mom to two boys. She was the only person that would give me a chance to prove that I was responsible to pay a rent and take care of my kids on my own. I will always be thankful to her for the chance she gave me because it made me into the woman I am today! Today my boys are 16 and 19 and we still talk about that house and had the BEST memories there thanks to her! I will never forget her, and think of her and...
