Joyce's legacy is her witness for the Lord Jesus Christ and her love of music. It was always good to see that orange flag fluttering as she came through the door of our church on the cart that she drove everywhere! She was always surrounded by children who were laughing and clamouring to get closer. Her voice was full and rich...I venture that now it rings out as she basks in the presence of Jesus whom she loved so dearly. For the rest of us, we must remember, "It is Only Till He Come."

There are so many wonderful things to remember about Joyce, she had an amazing love for the Lord. She loved singing for her Lord and her songs were enjoyed so much by everyone who heard her. I met Joyce when she was just a teen. She was so vibrant, loving, and "the leader of the pack". We will miss her, but we were all fortunate to have been a part of her life. Job well done, Joyce!

To Jodi's family and many friends, my sincere condolences. I worked with her for many years, up until her retirement at KCMO Parks and Recreation. She was a dear firend and will be missed by all that knew her.

To Joyce's family and friends, I would like to offer you my heartfelt sympathy. Joyce and I met at The Groves, where I work and she resided. I remember a couple of years ago when I was at Walmart and we visited while she waited for the bus and I waited for an oil change for my car. Just a couple of weeks ago, she was having a very bad day, and we visited. While it is good that her suffering has ended, her presence will be missed.

Joyce was my cousin, friend, babysitter, prankster and the one I would most likely have a laugh with when we were young. We grew up together, only one house apart as kids. The stories I could tell.... I will miss Joyce and remember our good times. She was among the last of the Eggers family left, now there is one less. I know how much her parents loved and adored her right up until they died. Uncle Art (Dad) thought the sun rose and sat in Joyce. Yesterday heavens gates opened for her...
