Joyce Soper

SOPER, Joyce - Of Montrose, formerly of Fenton, age 68, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at her residence. Memorial service will be held at 3PM Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Tim J. Loewe officiating. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation 2PM Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan on May 23, 1939, the daughter of the late Lester and Flora (Edwards) Black. On August 31, 1957 she married Harold E. Soper in Flint. She enjoyed her dogs, going to the casino and most of all spending time with her family. Surviving are husband, Harold; children, Danny Soper, Kelly Hodges, Jeffery and wife Dee Ann Soper, Brian Soper, Anthony and wife Judy Soper; grandchildren, Christina, Joseph, Megan, Chelsea, Michael and Brison; great-grandson, Brandon; brother, Bobby Black; cousins, Betty Chandler and Judy Presson; many nieces and nephews.
