Joyce Starr

My deepest condolences to the family of Joyce Starr. I had the privilege of working with Joyce in her retirement when she volunteered as an usher at PCPA from 2013 until spring of 2025. Joyce had a quiet strength about her and always a ready smile. Reflecting on her volunteer work, she once remarked, "Our community is lucky to have such a talented theatre. I like to help where I can." Thank you, Joyce. We were blessed to know you.

Joyce was a a bright light every time I saw her at the pool. I always enjoyed our conversations. She was so proud of her family. I was one of the proud recipients of her daughter's bird photo calendar. And she allowed me to read the book that she wrote. Joyce will be missed.
