TABOR, Joyce E. - Of Flint, age 83, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Willowbrook Manor.

Funeral service will be held 12Noon Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,

Pastor Terry Bate and Pastor Steve Close co-officiating.

Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Flushing Community Church Mercy Fund.

Visitation 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Joyce was born in Fenton on March 24, 1932 and was the daughter of Earl and Ruth Helmboldt. She was a lifelong resident of the Flint and Fenton area. She married Marvin "Gene" Tabor on June 2, 1956 in Fenton and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2013. She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ.

Surviving are son, Daniel E. and wife Trudy of Flint;

4 granddaughters, Pauline and husband Jay, Danielle (Jeremy), Lisa, Sara (Brett);

6 great-grandchildren Cassidy, Jayden, Jack, Madysen, Morgan and Emma;

brother Donald and wife Loretta Helmboldt;

sister-in-law Betty and husband Bob Day;

many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sister-in-laws and 2 brother-in-laws.
