Not sure what to say?

Thank you for helping make the world and Florida a more just place.

i am so sorry i found you to late.
i have been tracing family pictures for quite some time, i reading letters between my mother and aunt Joyce i found her to be quite compassionate. i remember aunt Joyce and uncle bill till their move to Florida. In searching my mothers letters and memories, she describes Aunt Joyce as very intelligent go getter and that any good that happened in their life was because of Joyce's intelligence. I am sad for not having found you soon enough. I had so many...

Joyce was a courageous citizen warrior who I first got to know best during the Florida Hometown Democracy/Amendment 4 campaign. You knew Joyce was with you all the way when you were in a fight, as I know and learned she was with the reproductive rights and her other movements. Joyce made her mark for and on behalf of all of us, she never would let you down and she is and will be missed. A good model of an activist that you could only wished you could have duplicated and emulated by all of us....

My Mom's dear friend of 57 years...in honor & celebration of an amazing woman. One of great strength whom I admire greatly. RIP Joyce

Joyce was bold, brave, and right! I'm just one of her many followers. I worked with Joyce for Population Connection and FSP, and Joyce recruited me for some full-time volunteer work for Hometown Democracy. I'm very proud of having known and worked with her, admire her so much, and will continue to champion her causes. A truly great women who's made a difference! Bravo, Joyce!

Always makes everyone happy to know someone who really gave a s--- about fairness and opportunities and love and equality. And ZPG way before it became popular or important. Joyce was always 'on it' -- a true believer and fighter. Didn't we have fun! Just look at her face holding a sign and telling it like it was! She was real! She made us happy and proud to be part of her endeavor! Her arms embraced all of us who marched with her. Joyce, I will always smile when I see your face. Rest...

Sending heartfelt condolences to Joyce's children and family. Joyce was a great friend to my mother for over 60 years. My mother talked about her often and will miss her very much. Thank you, Joyce, for being such a good friend to my mother and to our family. Rest in peace.

Joyce was a tireless worker for clean water, wise land use and clean air and Florida's quality of life. She joined the fray against a jetport in Miami, the Cross-Florida Barge Canal, and sprawling growthevery place she lived. There isn't a corner of Florida that hasn't benefited from her efforts.
A generous, loving and yes, demanding friend and mother, she will be missed. Now she is dancing with the Marjories to improve the great beyond.
