Not sure what to say?

As best friends go, Joyce was THE BEST! I miss really miss my dear friend and often find myself reliving the great times we shared together. Hanging out with her (and later with both her and Lindsey), shopping, decorating, sharing great meals, good wine and bad jokes. We laughed and cried together, climbed the corporate ladder together and supported each other along the way, celebrated our victories and understood each in that special way the only sisters can. When I think of her I can...

In this season of Thanksgiving I am honoring my dear sister friend Joyce Taylor whose inspiring light will never dim. I miss our special moments, wild laughter, her loyal support and continue to be guided by her example!

Dearest Joyce, I think of you often these days missing you dearly. Thank you for being a beacon of light in my life. Hugs Sandra

Joyce will always be apart of the fabric of our lives. She was a great friend, mentor and spiritual partner. I will miss the long chats on the telephone the most. Joyce your spirit will remain in our lives forever. To Joyce's family and Lindsey, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Sandra Floyd

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Joy (Lindsey and her brothers) this past summer for the first time. We met through mutual friends and had a wonderful time during the short time that we spent together. I enjoyed her company and was impressed by her passion for life, her warmth, her humbleness, and the care that she expressed towards others. I feel blessed to have had the chance to get to know her and am deeply saddened by her sudden passing. She was truly a special person.

Joyce was a great friend and dedicated to serving her community. Joyce introduced me to the Bay Area when I moved from Houston. She was instrumental in helping me get involved in the community and introducing me to to community leaders.

She will be missed by her friends and her community.

I attended her beautiful memorial today and was so touched by the warmth and the humor. I believe she would have approved.

I knew Joyce in High School and had seen her most recently at our High School Reunion in Muskogee in 2005. I still laugh every time I think of what she wrote in my High School Yearbook. It went something like this: "You talk awfully tough for someone who isn't a grown up yet." That's why I always liked Joyce, she was always elegant, even when she was reprimanding me! Warren and Alan, you probably don't remember me, but I was friends with your sister and loved her dearly. She spoke of...

Joyce was a wonderful person in every way. Losing her is difficult but we will cherish the memories. We feel fortunate that she was part of our lives. Deepest sympathy to Lindsey and her family.
