Not sure what to say?

Joyce was a lovely person who supported all of our community service projects with Altrusa International of Hamilton, OH Inc. She participated as much as possible. She faithfully served as one of our judges for 9 of our 10 Adult Team Spelling Bees to raise money for literacy projects in Butler County. We happily raised $36,250 for literacy grants over the first 10 Spelling Bee events.

I remember one Bee a couple years ago when she won a door prize that was a hand-painted picture...

Joyce was a dedicated member of Altrusa International of Hamilton, OH, Inc. for over 37 years, from 1983 to today. She was awarded Emeritus Membership status a few years ago. If there was going to be a funeral or visitation for Joyce, our custom is to present the member with a rose and this memorial prayer:

I have known Joyce since the 1960s. Joyce was a wonderful person
and never knew a stranger. Joyce was also very attentive to the
poor and disadvantaged.

Rest in Peace, Joyce. Sleep with the Angels.

On behalf of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, the Order offers its deepest condolences and is proud of a life well lived by Colonel Thall.

Deepest Condolences to Mrs. Thall’s Daughter, Tracy and all Joyce’s family and friends.

I knew Joyce for many years and her sister Alberta Riffel. Joyce always had time for you even if it was a wave when she was driving her car! We both had the same cars, Buick Park Avenues. And believe me she was hard to keep up even when driving her car! She's going to be missed terribly not only by her family, but her many, many friends! There isn't enough space for her many, many accomplishments, but she will be remembered always! God bless.
