Not sure what to say?

To my lovely and dear friend...so many years filled with fun and laughter and dedication!
Cheery, positive, cute and perky! Caring, kind and thoughtful too! She remains in my hear and memories!

Joyce was a delight to work with at Assistance League in Bellingham...She greeted ALB members and customers alike with her radiant smile and that twinkle in her eyes. Joyce was one of the sweetest and kindest women and we, at ALB, loved working with her! She was sometimes a model at our Fashion Show-Fundraiser and also delightful in her Kentucky Derby Party hat and lovely dress. Joyce will be fondly remembered by all who knew her at Assistance League of Bellingham...

Joyce was a joy to all who knew her! I was privileged to work with Joyce at Assistance League in Bellingham. She was one of the sweetest women I know and was always a delight to work with. Our Assistance League will remember Joyce with a smile and fondness for the delightful and happiness she shared with all of us. Sincerely, Gina Colon

Joyce was a dear friend, always full of fun and good cheer. She introduced us to the world of coop preschool which our children enjoyed so much. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Knew that Joyce must be still out there, joyful and wanted to maintain contacts with her mother's (Edna's) extended family. So sorry for your loss. The Heidman picnics were so special with one of the last at "little" Ed's at Birch Bay and one last one here at the Cabana in Skyline, Anacortes.

It would be sad to...

I originally met Joyce in 1982, when I started work at BioSonics, a company started by husband Bill 3-4 years earlier. Joyce was like a second mother to all of the many 22-25 year old employees trying to find their place in the company at the start, providing a lot of wisdom and guidance at a time that we sorely needed it! We spent a lot of time with Joyce and Bill over the following decade and we shared a great deal of fun together. We got to know Lori and Andy in those years and still...

Joyce was an incredible neighbor and soul. She was so kind to us and our children. We always looked forward to talking with her when she worked in her yard or hosted neighborhood parties. Joyce had a zest for life and creativity. She'll be missed and remembered.
