Joyce Whisenant

I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences to the family. I knew Joyce from the Muskegon farmer's market. I always looked forward to running into her there. It was a pleasure to know such a spunky, fun-loving woman, and a fellow gardener. I will miss bumping into her at the market.

I had the pleasure of knowing Joyce as family through a marriage. She became a friend. Years later, I re-met Joyce in her professional career at Muskegon County Road Commission while I was a BCBS Marketing Representative and Agent. We were both proud of our singular achievements. We shared our mutual experiences of being single working mothers and wanting the best for our children. We both sacrificed all we had to give the best we could. I admire and respect Joyce and will miss the wisdom...
