WIEBECK, Joyce Marie - Of Swartz Creek, age 81, died Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her residence with her loving family present.


Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, September 12, 2022 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 6380 Beecher Road, Flint,


Pastor Jeffrey Schmidt officiating.


Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church.


Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the service.


Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan on July 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Henry and Ina (Kosmatka) Brug. On October 8, 1960, she married Donald Wiebeck at Emanuel Lutheran Church where she was a lifetime member. Joyce was active in her children’s Christian upbringing and also in the church. She was a talented seamstress and baker.


Surviving are children, Kimberly Wiebeck, Laura (Michael) Taylor, and Stacey (Richard) Stieg;


Grandchildren, Christian (Kayton) Poehner, Matthew (Shaena) Poehner, Michael (Carrie) Poehner, Scott (Tabbitha) Poehner, Mackenzie (Pradeep) Pillai, Preston Johnson-Wiebeck, Kaitlyn Taylor, Mitchell (Reinee Erikson) Taylor, Corey McNeill, Sarah (Joshua) Sturtavant, Naomi (Brian) Deur and Faith (Dalton) Hyma;


16 great-grandchildren;


Sister, Evelyn (Elwyn) Cutler;


Sister-in-law, Judy Brug; And many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, brothers, Larry and Duane Brug and sister, Sharon (John) Wybranowski.

So sorry for your loss , losing your mother is extremely tough. I know, I try to remember all the good memories and smile. Knowing she's in a better place.
