I am so sorry to learn of JT's passing. I always enjoyed seeing and talking to him in my store. I first met JT in the early 70s and hunted in the local coon hunts that he also hunted in. He was such a kind and gentle person. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My cousin, Donna Hatfield Bourbon, and I were honored to meet JT when we were looking for the gravesite of her great grandfather, Lot Banks when we stopped at JT’s home to ask for directions. We really were surprised to learn Lot Banks was JT’s great grandfather too. He was so very helpful to share family information with her.
