So hard to believe it's been 10 years. Dad, in your humor, you were and still are "Juan in a million". We miss you and mom.

And he had good credit, too!
As the days pass, the memories seep in. Dad, you were a colorful man; a witty guy; and a passionate man. The quality I always remember about Dad is his depth of love for his wife and his kids. We always knew he would do anything for us. This kind of love is a special one. You are missed and will see you on the other side one day. Love is everything. (Keep sending those dimes!)

Theresa,
I only met your mom and dad once, but so enjoyed the visit. Your mom sent me Christmas letters every year after that, and I miss hearing from her. It is so hard to lose our parents, but good to know they are in a better place without any pain. Cherish your times together and all of your memories and let that bring happiness to you when you are sad. I love you and miss you!!

Leaving St. Mary's after Mom's passing.
The Message
Looking out the kitchen window, a butterfly appears,
And once again I wonder, "Is it Mom's message?"
Does she say there's nothing to fear?"
I start to reflect on the family that I have.
The times throughout the years, the good...some sad.
I think about your life here on earth,
An amazing journey you've led.
You are surrounded by so much love,
Your family and yes, your...

Dear Eva & family
We feel so very sad for your loss. There are no words that can fill the emptiness you have for the loss of your father. We are sorry that we missed you at the visitation, but we wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you & your family. In time your sadness will be replaced by all the happy memories your father brought to you.

I'm am sad to hear of your dad's passing, however he is with your mom in a better place. He brought a smile to my face everyday that I had the opportunity to work with him. He will always have a special place in my heart. I couldn't make the service, but I'm sure many people had wonderful things to say. Please keep in touch.
