Through the years and the passage of time since my dear friend Juan Angel's demise, the memories of his life still and will always remain in our daily memories of moments of friendly get-togethers, of enjoyable tennis games and kind gamesmanship and the unforgettable purity of his humanity and the grace and humor of his character. As time goes bye Juan is ever-present with all his friends in his unavoidable abscence.

Angel, Silvia and the Bernal Family are such a part of my childhood memories. All the Bolivian Parties. I am glad that he was a part of my life. Love and sympathy to the Family in their time of healing and grieving. He is in a better place. We will see him again someday with all the other guys and gals we remember.

To my old friends, the Bernal family, my sincere condolences. Mr. Bernal was a good man who always welcomed me to family events at the Bernal home, and at the Bolivian Society events. I loved discussing soccer with Mr. Bernal, and he passed along his prowess as a goalie to his son, my friend, Juan Jr. May God bless you all and comfort you in your grief. In the 50 years that I knew Juan, he was a good man and great person to party with. ...and there have been so many fun parties and picnics with him, his wonderful wife Silvia, and the rest of his family. I even remember playing one game of tennis with him. He was a great competitor. Juan, you will always be fondly remembered!
