Juan Luis Jaquez

Juan Luis Jaquez, 51, of Spearman, Texas passed away January 22, 2026 in Amarillo, Texas.  Viewing will be Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m, weather permitting, and Monday, January 26, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman, Texas.  A rosary will be held Monday, January 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Gruver Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Spearman, Texas.

Juan was born on October 4, 1974 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Fausto Jaquez and Maria Ortiz.  He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spearman.  He was a truck driver, and he loved music.

Juan is survived by his mother, Maria Jaquez of Spearman, Texas; one brother, Victor Jaquez and wife Melinda of Spearman, Texas; two sisters, Lorena Serrano and husband Gerardo of Guymon, Oklahoma, and Mayra Jaquez of El Paso, Texas; and his significant other, Quiteria Ortega of Monahan, Texas.  

Juan was preceded in death by his father.
