Juan Carlos, I can't believe you're not here in our newsroom, rushing around, laughing or engaging in some spirited conversation. My prayers go out to your children. I know you were very happy to have them here in El Paso with you.

I knew Juan for a short period of time. In that short period, there was enough laughter, friendship, fun to last a lifetime.
