Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Manny's family and his many friends and colleagues.
I am proud to have had the pleasure of working with Manny thoughout our 30 years in STD control at the Federal, State, and local levels.
He have loss one of the nice guys who was a true professional, loved and respected by everyone with whom he related. Bless him.

Maria, may God bless & comfort you and your family at the profound loss of your beloved Manny.

Although I didn't have a great many occasions to meet Manny, when we did meet he was always so nice, encouraging and helpful. What a really nice man. He will be missed

Manny positively impacted everyone who was fortunate enough to get to know him in any capacity. He certainly helped me through some difficult situations over the years in part with his wisdom, as well as with his wonderful sense of humor. He was a very smart, creative, dependable, classy, modest and empathetic man, and a man with GREAT integrity! He will be sorely missed. My thoughts go to his family at this most difficult time. May Mr. Olivas rest in peace. With much love and respect.

I will be forever grateful to Manny for bringing me on board to work for the Orange County Health Care Agency, and introducing me to public health. He was a gentleman and a role model for those of us who had the privilege to work under his leadership. My prayers are with his family.

Manny had two great loves -- Texas heat and his family. He was an excellent public health worker and a better friend. His infectious laugh and ability to tell a good story made the long trips to Fresno and beyond enjoyable. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one to you and your family.

I have known Manny over the decade or more that I have worked for the Alameda County Public Health Department. He was always cordial, compassionate, with great insight. I am sorry that he did not have an opportunity to fully enjoy the retirement that he so richly deserved. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Maria,

Always cheerish the wonderful memories. My prayers are with you and your family.
