POLANCO, JUAN F., "Fanfo" 73, of Cranston, passed away peacefully January 5, 2017 surrounded by his beloved family at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Bella (Batista) Polanco. Born in the Dominican Republic, a son of the late Juan and Carmen (Bueno) Polanco. Mr Polanco was a factory worker for various jewelry companies before retiring. Juan was a # 1 Red Sox Fan and an avid sports fan. He was the beloved father of Johnny Polanco and Joel Polanco and Jeannette Valerio and Yira Polanco. Loving grandfather of nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Also survived by seven brothers and five sisters. He had one late brother . His funeral is Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from ''WOODLAWN'' Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, Oxford St. Providence. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston. My deepest condolences to the Polanco Family. I have many find memories of baseball with your father and Johnny on Lexington Ave when we were kids. He was always respectful and kind to all of us kids on the street. May he eternally rest in peace along your mother's side within our Lord's gracious presence.
