JUAN LINO SALMON
January 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Juan Lino Salmon, who passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on June 24, 1937 in Rio Grande City, Texas.

Juan was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Margaret B. Salmon, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. He was a pillar of strength, love, and support for his entire family.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Juan served his country with honor and dedication. He was an exceptionally talented musician who traveled the world as a member of the U.S. Air Force Band of the West, playing trumpet.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Margaret, children Juan Lino, Jr (Dora), Jimmy (Natalia), Joseph (Darla), 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 9:45 am at The Angelus Funeral Home, followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.

My dearest condolences to the Salmon family. They were our next door neighbors when we were growing up in the Brady Garden neighborhood. May Juanlino rest in eternal RIP. I want to thank Juanlino and Margaret for caring for my family especially my mother and little sister Rhonda after my Dad died in 1980. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Juanlino and Margaret are two of the most generous people i have ever met. May God bless the Salmon family always.

Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to Margaret and all the Salmon family during this difficult time. Spending time with Juan at family gatherings was always a pleasure. We will miss his laughter, smile and wonderful demeanor.
