Not sure what to say?

Wow. Juan would be 72 on Jan. 6th, 2020. And still, very few days go by that I do not think of Juan Santos, one of the finest, kindest and gentlest souls. A great family man, writer and carpenter and friend. I love to think back on how when we would "shoot the bull," as we often did, it did not take long before Juan, so full of life and humor, would literally get tears in his eyes from smiling/laughing. We miss you my Brother. More than you may ever know -- but I choose to believe you do!...

Dear Laura and Michael, Jon and Linda, I was thinking about Juan the other day and wondering what he was up to. I guess we haven't been in touch in almost 20 years. I was shocked and saddened to find this obituary as a result of my Google search just now. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Juan Santos was an unadorned talent, someone who elevated whatever situation he found himself in, whether that was being a reporter at the N&R, a man battling cancer or just being a friend to others.

He was simply sincere, and I'm lucky to have known him. I will always remember him as my friend and someone who influenced my life.

Dear Laura The Memorial service for Juan today was beautiful. We were so touched from the words of his friends. Please know that we will be thinking of you in the days to come. Love from us both. Tahia and L.H.

Dear Laura,
So many years since I have seen you from the Henderson Dispatch days but will never forget the happiness and love that you and Juan projected and shared. How saddened I am to read of your loss. I have read the beautiful tributes in this guestbook, how I wish I had known Juan all these years since I have seen you. I just will never forget the looks of love on both your faces. May you lean on God for His comfort and strength and He will guide you through all the days of your life...

To Juan's family: May God give you peace in your time of loss. I worked with Juan at the Energy Division several years ago. He was a good friend and person. May God again give you peace to move on with your lives.

Laura,
I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard the sad news and wanted to get in touch with you. You are one of the toughest women I have ever met. Just remember to lean on all the people who love you during this time of grief.

My deepest condolences to the Santos family. Jon and Linda, I am truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. May God bless and keep you.

Seek the LORD, and his strength. (Psalm 105:4)

My condolences to the Santos family. To Jon and Linda on the loss of their father. I also extend my sympathy to his grandchildren: Joanna, Jon, and Justin as well as his daughter-in-law, Lisa. May time and prayer bring peace to your heart. You had your father for 40 years of your life. This is a blessing in itself. May your Dad rest in peace. We love you,
