Not sure what to say?

We will miss Juan. We looked forward to seeing him at Exchange Club District meetings. We will miss his knowledge, wit and charm.

A true friend and a wonderful Exchangite. He is missed.

JT and family-

MY thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have such great memories of growing up around your house. Your dad lives on with those who were lucky enough to know him.

John and Family,
Juan was such a kind and loyal man to me and my Dad for many years. Juan was always loyal to Tulane University, even in the tough times. I will never forget how he would tell me about my Dad playing football at Tulane. Juan was always willing to help out and volunteer his time with the New Orleans Quarterback Club any other organizations. Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Juan. We will certainly remember Juan and miss him greatly. God Bless Juan and the...

My prayer is that Juan had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that he is spending eternity with our Lord and Savior.

I will miss your father very much; he was a good friend and Fraternity brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Juan was often the only Tulane graduate among a host of LSU loyalists -- leading to a friendly rivalry ... Juan against the rest. If he could have, he would have...

I will miss Juan Velasco, who I first met at a New Orleans QB Club meeting in 1981 when I was a new attorney working downtown. Over the years our paths crossed on numerous occasions in the sports and legal arenas. I considered Juan not only my friend, but also my "expert" in Sport and Traffic Court, two parts of his life I know he enjoyed. He was the best at both. A lot of people will miss him.
