Send FlowersGroton - Juana Rodriguez, 51, of 15 Kamaha St., Groton, formerly of New London, died at her residence on Tuesday, Sept., 10, 2013.
She was born May 6, 1962, in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the Raphael Izquerido and Carmen Velez. Juana had worked as a housekeeper at Greentree Manor in Waterford.
She is survived by her son, Luis Marrero of Groton; a daughter, Katherine Rodriguez and her husband, Waldimar, of Groton; and two grandchildren, Jadiel Torres and Jovahanny Rodriguez.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
