Sam and Ray have always been a loving, guiding presence in my life. I can't believe she is gone, but I am so grateful for having this force of nature in my life. Sam glowed like a beacon to all around her. I admired her spunk, determination, and grace. Sam was so much more than my godmother; she was a mother to us all. I will always miss you, Sam. I will always love you. And I will always remember your sassy sensibility. I can't wait to see you again.

I am so sorry for your loss. What an amazing woman. Growing up in Independence, it always felt like all my friends moms were our "other" moms. No greater feeling in the world then having that sense of security whenever we came over. Tim, your mom was awesome and will truly be missed. A heart felt sympathy for you and your family. Love you brother.
