Not sure what to say?

The last time I was able to see Nanai was the day before Mother’s Day. I wanted to visit her on what turned out to be the weekend just after she passed away. When someone we love dies –whether they’re old or young– we all get a little greedy in that we wish we had more time to spend with them. At 87, my grandmother lived an amazing and full life.

I can remember my mom and dad and I visiting her, Gloria, and Cita every Sunday when I was younger. We’d go to the Southshore shopping plaza...

Adopted mother, I considered Auntie Aning who was my aunt-in-law. Moises Crisolo, my father-in-law was her brother. Motherly care she rendered me when I had my two children, brought me foods during my first week after giving birth, so that I could have good nutrtion and plenty of rest are only few things that I always cherished. When we moved to NM, she would call me, pretending she was asking for recipe of our favorite dish that we used to share with the whole clan, but actually she just...

When I was a baby, I remember visiting Auntie's house and crying when I saw her because she would pinch my little fat cheeks so HARD!! I love her dearly and will miss her.

I will truly miss my Auntie Aning, I was happy to be able to visit her 3 weeks ago before going back home to Az. Auntie dedicated her life to her children and gave so much love to her family and for that she will be missed dearly. I personally will miss her laughter and her specialty was her yummy fried chicken. My dad Moises was her brother and now they are both resting peacefully but never forgotten in our hearts.
I love you Auntie Aning.
your niece Liz

I will truly miss my Auntie Aning, I am so glad I was able to see her when I flew out from AZ 3 weeks ago. She will always be a part of my life because she was so full of life and truly loved her family. She dedicated her life to her family and had so much love for all of us. My loving dad Moises was her brother and now may they both rest in peace. I love you Auntie Aning wth all my heart. Most of all I will miss your laughter.
Your loving niece,
Liz

Auntie Aning was a huge part of our lives. My dad (Moises) was her brother and we all grew up together and had many good times and fun get togethers We will sorely miss her laughs, her cooking and the love she showed for her family. Her life really showed what it meant to give. We loved her so much.
