Obituary

COTMAN, Juanita Ernestine "Fuji," was born on August 19, 1962 and departed this wonderful victorious life on October 11, 2009. She is preceded in death by her father, James Cotman Sr. and her uncle Calvin "Red" Greene. She leaves to cherish her memory, her very devoted daughter, Dana Cotman. Her mother, Bertha Cotman; two sisters, Paula Cotman, and Althea Washington (Michael); three brothers, James Cotman Jr. (Diane), Alonzo Cotman (Jenine), and a devoted brother Gregory Cotman Sr. (Tanya); eight nieces, four great-nieces, six nephews, one great-nephew; a godson, and goddaughter. A host of relatives and friends. Remains rest at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, 5130 John Tyler Memorial Highway, where the family will receive friends on Friday, October 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service 2 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Little Elam Baptist Church, Charles City, Va., Rev. Charlotte McSwine-Harris, eulogist.
