ELLYSON, Juanita Blankenship, 83, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 22, 2011. A lifelong resident of the Richmond area, she was born in Oregon Hill to the late Percy and Lillian Blankenship. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Edgar A. Ellyson. She is survived by her four children, Gary Ellyson and fiancee, Joyce Allin, Roger Ellyson and wife, Melissa, Jeffrey "Jay" Ellyson and wife, Mary, and Robin Coyle and husband, Jerry; nine grandchildren, Dawn Ellyson, Kimberly Grant and husband, Matt, Bradford Ellyson, Erin Ellyson, Emily Ellyson, Tara Ellyson, Jeremiah J. Coyle Jr. and wife, Stephanie, Carly Coyle, Scott Coyle; two great-grandchildren, Kaydence Ellyson and Jeremiah J. Coyle III "Tripp"; her sister, Jean Perkins; nephew, Bert Perkins; and aunt, Anna Ellyson. She was a devoted Henrico County Public Schools food service employee for 32 years at J.R. Tucker High School. A memorial service will be held at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Avenue, Friday, February 25, 2011 at 2 p.m., with visitation to be held 30 minutes prior to the service. A reception will immediately follow at Colonial Place Christian Church, 1200 Parham Road.
