Words can't begin to express my sadness and shock when I heard of the passing of my dear friend. I guess it was so shocking because we kept in touch and I had just spoken to her a few weeks ago and mailed her a Christmas Card. I met her many years ago at the IRS Distribution Center and we remained friends through the years. My heart has been heavy not only because of her passing but that I was unable to be at the Homegoing Celebration. I will always remember "Winky". Love, Grace, Peace...

I just learned of Winky's passing. I was very sad to hear this news and I send my prayers to all of you. I wish I had of known earlier, I would have been there at the service. Please know that you all are in my prayers.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
