She was a wonderful person who influenced me as a teen and young adult quite a bit. Juana was my confirmation sponsor when I was 14, something that few people in their early 20's would be willing to do! But she was willing and it meant a lot to me. We stayed in touch throughout our lives and, every time I visited my mom, Juana's next door neighbor, I made it a point to visit and get caught up with Juana. I'll miss her.
