Not sure what to say?

'We hope to not forget...'
To Ms. Porter,
Your eyes are not to be forgotten by our crying souls. Nor shall your blazing source of brilliance be something to not behold. Your ways in which you readied such striking minds, created strength beyond all end. We pray to surely just decline the will to just give in. Though life may give us wearisome times, our fears carrying through solemn doubt, The fighting spirit you brought towards our lives will hopefully never die out. Our tears...

It was an honor and pleasure to have worked with a person with so much professionalism and dedication as Mrs. Porter. She was always there for anyone and everyone with open arms to help even through the toughest times. She was my incentive to keep going. Every morning as I passed by her class she gave me the strength I needed with her warm heart and kind words. I promise to keep her alive by wearing the beautiful dresses I have from her every Black History Month, because as we all know that...

It was an honor to work with Ms. Porter. I didn't get a chance to know her intimately, but I admired her deeply. It is very rare that one gets a chance to interact with someone possessing such great professionalism as Ms. Porter, and I consider it an honor to have been her colleague. She was the second grade teacher to six of my current students, and from their reaction to the news of her passing, I know that she touched their lives profoundly. Rest in peace, Ms. Porter. Your battle...

It was an honor to have worked with such a professional in the field that I too love so much. With Mrs. Porter it was always the kids. She was a caring teacher who gave the students what they needed the most: love and undertanding in a structured environment.
My prayers and thoughts are with her family.
God Bless.

As a Spanish teacher at Rafael Hernandez School, I had known Mrs. Porter for only 2 1/2 years. Last year I had the pleasure to teach her class. To work with her students and witness her interaction with them gave me a great appreciation of her as a teacher and as a human being. She will be missed, but never forgotten!

My deepest sympathy to the family. My prayers are with you and may you find peace in knowing that God understands your heartache and He cares.

I worked with Mrs. Porter briefly as a vice principal at Rafael Hernandez School. She was a lovely, warm person who also was a very dedicated teacher. She will be missed greatly!

My condolences to Mrs. Porter's family for your loss.

I worked with Mrs. Porter in the capacity as her Vice Principal for eight years at Rafael Hernandez School. This year's graduating class has about twenty-five of Mrs. Porter's former students, including my daughter. These students have continued to excel and remain on the Honor Roll as a result of the foundation they received from Mrs. Porter's strenth and dedication to the learning environment.

We will always cherish Mrs. Porter's words of wisdom. I am so thankful to have had...

My deepest sympathy to the family. My prayers are with you at this time. Mrs.Porter was a beautiful person who loved the children and enjoyed her work. She was committed to them and will be missed.
