Juanita became my "work mom" when I began teaching at Madison School so many years ago. She was always there to help, lend an ear, and gently offer advice in her quiet, thoughtful way. She taught me so much, and I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to work so closely with her. She was a wonderful mentor and friend, and an all-around lovely person. I can't believe she is gone, and I will continue to pray for Juanita and her family during this sad time.
