I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mom, Sister, Grandmother, and Mother-in-law.
I worked with Juanita, at Concord Day Treatment Center, in the late 1980's. Every night before she left, after counseling clients with limitless dignity, humor, love, and kindness, she would tell the Staff something witty, and/or give us the peace sign, as she walked out the door. I worked with Juanita at Concord Day Treatment in 1987 and the next few years. She and I were both Polish and we spoke a lot about our heritage. She had a gift of hospitality. When we had new patients, she would make them feel so welcome. She was the kindest and most gentle woman. She always put others before herself. I remember the smile she had on her face.
