Heaven welcomed Judd Killpack on July 8, 2015. A man of quick wit, gruff love and gutter humor, he gave us his best for 91 years. He is survived by his daughter; his eight grandchildren and spouses; his five great-grandchildren; and by his extended family in Oregon, Utah, California and beyond....

Not sure what to say?

I was happy to be reminded of Judd, for it brought me back many years in which we did business with his company. His ethics, knowledge, and just plain being a good guy made him much respected. We could use more like him on this earth.

Thank you, Judd, for everything.

Judd, Eve and family have been such a wonderful part of my life that has brought such rich memories to be cherished. Memories of the quaint yellow farm house and barns, riding Prince with my sister Dawn and Judd being there to share his knowledge and wisdom. He loved to grow vegetables ever since I've known him and share his plentiful crops. He was great at telling stories from his experiences of being raised in a large family and other life events. He also loved to go to the Oregon Symphony...

Judd was a great guy, always greeted you with a big smile and a hearty handshake. We always had interesting conversations about current events, World War II, Korea and Butner Road/Cedar Hills history.

When it came to his massive garden, he was always so generous with the bounty.

How many people in our lives can we say helped us achieve our most precious dreams? Yet that is exactly what Judd and Eve did for me at the tender age of 11. Buying my beautiful horse Chief from them and being offered the opportunity to clean the horse stalls and cow barn in return for boarding and hay made my dream reachable! I was fortunate to spend some time with Judd before he passed and we had such fun reminiscing, him showing me a framed picture of the last horse he owned, and the...

Judd and Eve Killpack were longtime garbage customers of ours at Valley Garbage Service where they lived on Butner Rd. He always came out and talked to us on Wenesdays and even shared the bounty of his garden with us. A true combat veteran of WWII's biggest battles in the Pacific. It was an honor for us to serve him. Our whole crew will miss him forever.

I was fortunate to met Judd at a time in my life when I needed a point in the right direction. I followed up on his advice and landed the perfect job for me, and ended staying there for 31 years. Judd and Eve were "Extra Special". My sincere condolences to the Killpack family.

Judd Killpack was the ultimate gentleman, in addition to being a very knowledgeable and competent person in his profession. I did business with him for many, many years and always looked forward to seeing him. A very classy person.

I met Mr. Killpack while working on Sherre Calouri's failed bid for the Oregon Senate in the early 1990s. He had such a great sense of humor, it was a true pleasure to be around him any time. I am sadden to see his obituary. My condolences to his family. RIP, Mr. Killpack.
