Not sure what to say?

I first met Miss Chizmar when she was a playground instructor at Carylwood school during the summer when I was a child in the 1950's. I remember her as beautiful and kind. She took an interest in me and met my parents. She gave a book on raising gifted children to my mom. I believe that they spoke some Hungarian to each other which was my mom's first language. Memory Eternal!

She was my teacher at Saint Mary's. Great teacher and lady... RIP Judy

Ms. Chizmar was my 6th and 7th grade teacher from 1970 to 1972. She was a great teacher and always took the time to give me the extra time I needed in some of the subjects. I've thought of her so much through the years and will always remember her as my teacher and mentor. Rest in peace.

Judy you are with Jesus and now celebrate in heaven. Deacon Vince Belsito

Miss Chizmar, you had a profound impact on my life that I wouldn't come to realize for many years. Your patience, agility, and dedication to your profession were nothing short of astounding. I will never forget the stories of your garden, your enthusiasm for the Indians, and the appreciation and understanding of math that you drew out of me. I'm certain you'll be using the overhead projector in heaven.

I am so sorry to just hear of Ms. Chizmar's passing. One of my favorite teachers and probably the only person ever...who could teach me math. Rest in Peace, Ms. Chizmar. You made the world a much better place for so many.

My Memories of Judy Chizmar
Judy for 5 years you were the most important woman in my life. You were my Friend, Mentor, Idol and Inspiration. When I was right you backed me and helped me make changes. When I was wrong you still helped me, so I could make it right. We made changes; Boosters, Cheerleaders, winning basketball and football teams, a track team, and made St. Mary's a better place. We made PTA night a special event, we built a GYM, we played softball, and we made St. Mary's a...

So sorry at the loss of Judy, another wonderful classmate and friend! Rest in peace Judy.

My deepest sympathies to the Chizmar family. Judith was a beautiful person and dedicated to our education at St Mary School.
