Judy, Judy, Judy....
Good times were had visiting my best friend Liz, her little brother Tommy, and their parents Judy and Tom. How sweet it was to be with Judy in her kitchen, watching her create gourmet dishes and laughing with her as she played with the animals and gave us all her hilarious stories and wise insights on things...
Judy and her family plotted my parents' first date -a surprise double date where she met the love of her life. We lost touch with the Coons when we...

Vickie called me today with the news of Judy's passing. I know it has been so many years since we, or my parents had spoken. But now the memories of those times surround me and my heart is heavy. So much of my childhood...The Sladons and The Coons. Disneyworld...my mom and Judy in the antiques stores don't cha know...I remember...Thomas' braces...and when he got them off...The Winnebagos...Ocala...a wonderful Thanksgiving center piece...poison ivy...laughter...the best pie crust...

I am so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She was a sweet lady. I always appreciated her fondness of animals, and how she would go out of her way to help them. I always thought it was cute when she would call people "Cookie", and I also loved her design philosophy, saying that "More is more" when she made her beautiful floral arrangements. So many things she did made people smile. You will be missed Judy!!!

As a little girl growing up across the street from Judy, Tom, Liz and Thomas, I loved spending time watching her cook up her fantastic meals, tasting her delicious desserts, playing with the animals and listening to Judy's animated stories. When my parents were out of town, Judy offered to drive me to my allergy doctor's appt in Downtown Miami. As we were leaving the office walking to her car, we spotted an injured cat crying. She quickly found a cardboard box and scooped him into her car....

"Ole Bird" my dearest friend. I will miss our long conversations through the good times and the times of sorrow, but mostly the laughter we shared. Our friendship began as little girls, and grew stronger through the years. As we discussed so many times before, we will meet again. Love ya Bird, Mary Margaret Morrow McQueen

I probably haven't seen Judy since we graduated from high school, but old friends are never really forgotten. My condolences to her family.

Judy was always the most charismatic and kind woman with always a funny story to share. She is hard to sum up without saying awesome! She will be missed. Much love to the family.
