Dear Demos Family, I was so sorry to read of Judy's passing. I remember her fondly from my childhood visits to Demos Variety. She and Jim were so kind to all the kids who visited to get penny candy, ice cream or a coke. Judy would visit with the kids and she knew all of us by name. May the many memories you have of your Mother comfort you during this time of sorrow. Rest in heavenly peace Judy.

Penny, I am saddened and so deeply sorry to read of the great loss of your Mom, just as I was her loss of her own Mom. I always thought of her as being the "coolest" Mom. I've thought of her often with the greatest gratitude. Because of her generous gift of heart, years later my grandchildren have immensely enjoyed their (as I'm told Disney quality) Halloween costumes. I often wished I could have told her, because her kindness, especially later in my adult view just meant SO much to me...
