Not sure what to say?

Judith, I think it is not too late to tell you this way that I have some photos from your "Millbrook Years" I want to send you. I will have to send them to this page and hope your spirit will see them. These are some happy memories from a tough time. Keep dancing! Love, Jane

I felt so lucky when I last saw Judy when she was still working at the Village Voice. She was as beautiful as I remember her when we met in Fusion Groups (encounter therapy groups) in NYC in the late 60's and early 70's. I think that is where she and Bruce Jenner met and got together. I always thought they were a great couple. My husband, Chuck Clifton and I got to know both of them during that period. I was so sorry to learn that Judy suffered with Alzheimers. This photograph, while not the best quality, captures Judith's beautiful essence. I took this some years ago in Washington, DC at our cousin's home. As another friend posted here, Judy had a smile that could light up a room. Here it is. . .

When I first visited NYC as a teenager from Miami, Florida, Judy took me to my first jazz clubs in the City - The Half Note and The Five Spot. She was a jazz fan and at the time, both an actress and a dancer on Broadway, and she always taught me the importance...

For some reason - and now I why - I was exhausted and drained on Saturday morning June 10th - the day Judy passed.

Sally - you were an amazing support and strength to our girl. I can never express my gratitude to you. You were Judy's angel.

Yes - I agree with Jackie - Judy was my light, my mentor, my sister, my friend. I so looked up to her. I treasure the time we had together and I truly regret her struggle with Alzheimer's.

I witnessed Judy's many transformations in...

Just found out that Judith passed away over the weekend. I am so very sad. Judy was a bright light to all who knew her. That beautiful smile and those gorgeous eyes, lit up any room she walked into. I am forever grateful to Sally Cohen for taking such great care of Judy for all these years. She was a great friend and in the end an amazing caretaker. Judy left behind the cutest Havanese named Ruby who is now with Sally as well. I treasure the years we all worked together at The Village Voice....
