I wish all of you could have known my Judy, the true example of servant. She always thought of me, or daughters, Lisa and Amy, or her grandchildren before she was concerned about herself.

In her 70 short years, she took...

Not sure what to say?

I write this with a heavy heart. I am saddened to hear of your loss. I remember Judy as a wonderful lady, always with a smile on her face and willing to help anyone, anytime. We all lost a special friend. The years we were neighbors were fun filled. We had many laughs together and ate lots of ice cream. The family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I valued Judy as a friend while we were in high school. She gave me her "only worn once" dress for the Jr. Prom (can't remember whether it was a gift or a very reasonably priced sale). She was, indeed, a sweet and generous friend. Isn't it wonderful to note that the pair of dimples on either side of her lovely smile remained throughout her life? I am so sorry for the difficult loss of your wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Dear Don and Family,
Words really can't express all our feelings, but I wanted you to know that we send our heartfelt sympathies to you all. I was fortunate to know Judy at Elgin High and as a member of the Class of 1960. Judy and I had some classes together and I remember her as such a sweet and caring person. She never had a bad word for anyone and always had a special smile for all who knew her. Again we send our deepest sympathy and prayers to your family. God's blessings to you...

Judith Ann Panella, Class of 1960, Elgin (IL) High School

To the Hein family: While it's been 52 years since I really knew Judy, as a member of the Elgin High School Class of 1960 we all will feel the loss you are experiencing. I remember her as being just a very nice person, always friendly to everyone. Our class was a special class and I know she had many friends who will have wonderful memories of her. My deepest condolences to all the family. Chandler Swan

We love you and miss you so much Mom. xxoo

Don and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you, on the passing of Judith Ann. God bless you all.

Don and family. I'm so sorry to hear about Judy. It's been 20 plus years since I left Indianapolis, but you and Judy gave me a great going away party. Her thoughtfulness and kindness always hold a special place in my heart. Not to mention that killer egg nog she made at Christmas. Peace to you.

Don,
My heart goes out to you and your family. I know Judith Ann was a treasure to you, as you expressed your love for her so often. Her thoughtfulness to our newsroom was so much appreciated. God bless you and your daughters as he takes her into His arms.
