It is with deep sadness and sorrow that I learned of Judy's passing from a very good and dear friend. Billy Joe, for you and all the family, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences.. I haven't seen Judy in many years (more than I care to remember) I always felt a special adoration for her, and her brother and sisters. It is with sadness that I have learned of Judy's long battle with cancer, and now her going home to be with the Lord.
Although we know that she is much better off, friends and family now have a big vacancy.
Basically, I have been away from Jefferson County since 1949, and away from Alabama since 1953, but my memories are deep. I remember Mae Jett, and her dad's grocery store.
