Judith A. Kish, 83, of North Catasauqua, passed away peacefully in her home on January 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born on October 21, 1940, in Catasauqua, to the late Preston Oliver and Edith (Quigg) Kidd. Judy graduated from Catasauqua High School in 1958. She married Dennis J. Kish, to whom she was married for 63 years. Judy was a secretary for the Sandran, GAF, and Tarkett Companies until her retirement. Judy volunteered her time with many different organizations in the Catasauqua area. She served as a den mother for the Boy Scouts and volunteered at countless activities for the Presbyterian, St. Paul’s Lutheran, St. Lawrence the Martyr, and St. John Fisher Churches. She also enjoyed her time as a volunteer for the Lion’s Club and especially at the Catasauqua Thrift Shop, Catasauqua Food Bank, and the North Catasauqua Carnival. In her free time, Judy loved taking the time to play a round of golf. One of her greatest joys in life was watching her children and grandchildren’s sports and activities.

Judy is survived by her husband, Denny; sister, Anna Mushrush and husband, Bo; son, Jeff Kish and wife, Ellen; daughter, Donna Kish Umar and husband, Anthony; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Ethel Johnson.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Fisher Church, 1237 Third St., N. Catasauqua. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be held at a later date.
