Not sure what to say?

Judy is greatly missed. It was my good fortune to have met her in my twenties and reconnect with her at CSB in my fifties.
To Charlie and Jennifer, no matter what we were talking about, you two were always in her thoughts and words.
Judy was such a Jazz fan and told me many stories of her days in Providence Rhode Island before coming to beautiful Akron. Judy was awesome that’s all!

Judy, You are in Heaven but will never be forgotten down here on Earth. You were one of a kind. I enjoyed talking to you whenever I came over to repair something at your condo. We had the Greatest conversations. Every time that I pass your condo when I am working at Pointe West I think of you. Your Friend, Steve Simon

each time I hear Jundy's name I think of the first time I walked into the Dept of Econ, ...with Judy there to great me with a warm smile and a cherry goodby on my way out. Everyone would congregate near her desk because it was the warmest place to stop in the department, and in University as well. I dearly miss her and the warmth of that spot.

Judy was my first friend in the US (1982) and went out of her way to make us foreign students welcome. I am truly sorry to hear this news (albeit 2 years later). She was a wonderful human being and a beautiful lady.

Judy was a great woman and a great friend. I got to know her when I was a graduate assistant at the dept. of economic at the University of Akron. She was always generous and helpful to others. I am sure we all miss her.

I have known Judy since I first came to Economics in the 1970s, as she was known as "the" person to talk to about navigating the department and dealing with just about any issue. It was well known that Judy was the most knowledgeable person and the most thoughtful and helpful as well. It was a joy to work with her every day, as she always brought a smile to everything she did and made everyone around her feel better as a result having stoped by her desk to chat. Judy had as much to do with...

Judy was an amazing woman. I knew her at the University of Akron where her concern, love, and care of young persons (students and faculty a like) provided a model for all. She will be forever missed.

Condolences to her family and the many, many friends who are better for having known her.

Judy was a fun and welcoming presence in the world. My adult children still refer to her as the "Cracker Lady" because when they were little she always gave them crackers from her desk when they visited Olin Hall. Thanks to Judy for her generous spirit.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
